This is a rare yellow tribute tea from Huoshan County in Anhui province. Only a few types of yellow tea exist due to the complicated and tedious process in making it. In fact, there are only a few masters which know the unique "Men Huang" technique. It involves brief wither after plucking. Panning, to heat the leaves & rolling to shape them. After that the tea is being wrapped into cloth pouches to ferment for several days while masters attend the heaping & monitoring process and control the temperatures of environment with further spraying or steaming. The light fermentation makes tea smoother, rounder and sweeter.... sort of like aging red wine.

DRY LEAF: Thin long needles of Bud and leaf. Aroma of Almonds, hops and sweet garden green peas with a hint of coriander.
INFUSED LEAF: Infused leaf is releasing an aroma of fermented sweet hops, dandelions and honey.
LIQUOR: The cup has a soft light straw colour with incredible aroma of honeysuckle, dandelion and hops. Liquid is remarkably thick and round on the tongue with herbaceous and flower notes. The smooth and sweet taste is balanced with slight acidity and enriched with hints of fermented hops and roasted almonds. After-taste is sweet vanilla with long vegetal finish. This rare tea is best brew in Gaiwan or small ceramic or glass teapot, occasionally :)

"Litlle Poetry" by JD

"The king of all spiders searching for somewhere to dwell
His sleek, shiny and hairy body is trying to hide well
In his tiny royal green-yellow robes
He hides in these bushy tangled garden pea slopes
So delicate, so sweet, just like honey and hops
Violets and orchids.... Oh, such a delicate crops
Perfect for the King of kings
The aroma of honeysuckle and thyme gave him divine wings"
