  • Ambiance

Made by a small studio in Jingdezhen, this ceramic pitcher is fired at high temperature. The outer finish and inside is glazed with glossy glaze. The pitcher is medium heavy and soft and smooth on touch. Earthy-note colours on this pitcher are disturbed only with super original whitish "spilled cream" like waterfall dripping down from the top to the bottom. The pitcher pours well without any spills and it's wonderful to hold in hand. It also keeps the tea hot longer.

Inside Story

Jingdezhen is a prefecture-level city, in north-eastern Jiangxi province, China. It is known as the "Porcelain Capital" because it has been producing Chinese ceramics for at least 1,000 years, and for much of that period Jingdezhen porcelain was the most important and finest quality in China. The city has a well-documented history that stretches back over 2,000 years.
