Liquor: Liquor express notes of orchid bouquet with sweet orange zest, clear amber and velvet after-taste with significant astringency and “after rain” aroma so typically found in most of 1st flush Darjeelings.
About: Established in 1852, Puttabong “Home of Green Leaves” is the first known tea estate in Darjeeling’s history. (Planted by the pioneering British Tea Planter Dr.Campbell in 1852).
The rolling hills of this phenomenal estate rise to 2,000 metres and end in the crystal waters of the Rangeet River. Puttabong is a sustainable plantation and the first estate to produce teas that fetched prices which set a world record. The purity of the harvest is resembled in it's pristine cup.
